On March 31st, Ken is turning 31. It's the greatest possible age for a GOLDEN BIRTHDAY and we're throwing a funeral.
What's the theme? Black and Gold. Will there be gold? Maybe not, we're on a budget. But there WILL be black.
What's gonna be there?
Some desserts, some snacks, a light dinner.
A stupid movie playing in the background?
Bo will probably be there and he'll turn the volume up, he's like that - an unstoppable force of volume adjustment.

We're kicking off at 6pm on Sunday, March 31st. Starting late to let Jesus have the first half of Easter. And then we're going ALL NIGHT LONG. Or until 9ish or whenever people get tired.
It'll be at our house.
I'm not gonna say "no gifts please" because if I'm being honest I LOVE gifts. But also don't feel pressured to get something if you can't afford it right now / generally don't want to. You being here is the best thing.
So what do I need from you? Let's talk ENTRY FEE.
That's right, it's not free. If you're coming I expect a couple things in particular.
First thing: A handwritten note detailing a moment between the two of us. I have a memory like a shaken goldfish and I KNOW I have a hard time remembering even the most precious memories. Having a physical reminder of some time we shared together would be tops. Also, it's required.
Second thing: A coin. Gotta pay the toll to cross the river. Bring whatever. These are mine forever.
